Swedish Television highlights new Sophos ransomware research

The Swedish Television (SVT) has published an article a new research from the security company Sophos. It shows that Swedish companies pay large ransoms when they have been hit by ransomware attacks.

Despite the fact that authorities and experts agree that any demanded ransom in such IT attacks should not be paid. Sophos asked 5,000 IT managers in 26 countries how often they pay. Sweden came in second place making it the country with the highest costs for getting the systems in order after ransomware attacks.
